Who this is for

If you are a mid-to-senior software engineer, tech lead, staff engineer, or engineering manager who recognizes yourself in one of these, we should talk:

  • The quiet expert - you know the right answer but can't get it heard in the room.
  • The stalled senior - you've hit a ceiling and promotion cycles keep passing you by without clear feedback.
  • The reluctant leader - you're drifting from IC toward lead/manager and don't know how to make the jump intentionally.
  • The overwhelmed lead - you just got the title and suddenly every meeting is political, strategic, or both.
  • The disconnected craftsman - you still love to code but feel cut off from product, business, and the why.
  • The burnt-out high performer - you keep grinding, but the return on effort is shrinking and you can't see the next step.

You don't need to be in crisis. Most of my best conversations are with people who are already doing well and want a sharper angle of attack on the next 12 months.

What you get access to

Over 15 years of hands-on architecture, tech leadership, and management-consulting experience - concentrated into practical, repeatable moves you can apply next week. With my outside-in view to your challenges, concretely, we work on:

Leadership and influence

  • Traveling the Architect's Elevator - speaking credibly with C-suite, peers, and engineers on the same day.
  • Giving, seeking, and receiving feedback that actually changes behavior.
  • Running the promotion game deliberately: collect evidence, earn sponsors, shaper your narrative.
  • Leading without authority across squads, tribes, and client/vendor boundaries.

Professional self

  • Situational awareness - reading the room, the org chart, and the unspoken agenda.
  • Structured thinking - apply MECE, Pyramid principle, first-principles problem framing.
  • Visual communication - decks, diagrams, and one-pagers that land in 30 seconds.
  • Writing as a leadership tool - craft memos, RFCs, and decision records that move work forward.

Engineering craft at scale

  • Solution and evolutionary architecture for greenfield and transformation programs.
  • Microservices, systems design, and the trade-offs that actually matter in production.
  • Breaking silos between engineering, product, and design β€” and owning outcomes end-to-end.
  • Time-to-market: finding and removing the real bottlenecks in your delivery pipeline.

You get a coach who has personally led 20+ digital projects across 8+ countries and 6+ industries β€” banking, telco, automotive, logistics, even construction β€” and not a generalist reciting learned frameworks.

About my experience and past projects

Said about me*

"I would point out that you can connect engineering and business world, you have huge experience and great people skills. Best experience that you entered our project and calmly got it back on track. At the time I could not imagine myself doing that."

  • Roland Sz. [senior data engineer]

"Liked working with you. You took the lead, actively pushed and made it happen. Always supported your team, we could always count on you and your wide experience."

  • Gergo V. [senior software engineer]

"You always had sharper insights than most. You could always go one step deeper for pros and cons that others missed. I liked that you gave us space to earn experience."

  • Akos Sz. [senior engineer]

"Always kind, empathic, calm, very caring and professional. This combo is rare, especially in engineers."

  • Richard T. [coach and people leader]

"His technical expertise is top-notch, and he quickly became a reliable pillar of the team. Over time, he grew into a conscientious and supportive leader. Someone you can always count onβ€”both professionally and in people management.

If anything, his high standards sometimes lead him to take on more than necessary, but that also reflects his strong sense of ownership and commitment."

  • Andras M. [technical leader, senior software engineer]

"Direct, operative leader who earns respect with his technical and process knowledge. Quick, decisive and experimental while being thourough enough, these are great traits."

  • Gabor B. [mobile dev chapter lead]
